Community Tasting Notes 3

  • wayfarer Likes this wine:

March 12, 2018 - Drinking great with nose and palate per prior notes. Very nice, good qpr overall.

  • wayfarer Likes this wine: 89 points

December 30, 2016 - Served with tomato couscous/chorizo. Much as previous bottle. Deep red in glass, quite fresh red fruit in nose and palate, moderate rich, moderate length, some layers underneath of earth & cocoa. Snappy & a bit luscious with flavor without being over the top at all.

July 10, 2016 - Rich red in glass. Lively and deep cherry nose and palate. Really nice length and development on palate--fresh cherry, cocoa, earth as it lingers in back of mouth. Not complex as such, but I think a great effort and QPR.

Cherries are in season and as I just ate a handful earlier in the day, the flavor was easily recalled--without any cliche at all, this wine is lovely.
