  Sweet, balanced, but for me a hint too sweet in the finish. Could be fresher and more precise in the finish. The TN sounds negative but the wine is really great. I searched for perfection. 95

  April 14, 2018 - HDH Burgundy Auction; 4/13/2018-4/14/2018 (Chicago, IL): #11-95, 8.5% abv. Holy shit. Insane and intense with so much botrytis on the nose. Orange peel, orchard fruits, just a massive mix of everything that you want from a riesling. The palate is sweet and incredibly intense, but there's an airy lightness here that gives this an ethereal quality, despite the crazy sugar and concentration. Finishes long. Really, really long. Stunning riesling.

  April 14, 2018 - Wines tasted at HDH Celebration of Burg Auction - Day Two: So much going on in the nose tropical fruit, honey and spice. Wow, this is rich and sweet with an almost syrup-like texture but still fresh. Delicious.
