July 3, 2022 - Very bright raspberry fruit and creamy oak, a very modern wine that is well made, at least there are fine tannins and a nice streak of acidity balancing the borderline sweet fruit, but this is just so far away from what I personally like it's hard for me to judge... 15/20?

Soft tannins, round. Not sure where it will go with time.
As often occurs with Achaval wines, after a few hours acidity becomes overwhelming.

May 11, 2019 - I’ve moved away from drinking wines in this style but coming back to this one, I’m surprisingly satisfied. N: major black licorice/anise, secondary tart cherry. P: medium body (less body than you’d expect —I thought it’d be huge), probably not terribly tannic to begin with but the age makes them silky smooth. There’s candied blueberry, wild underripe blackberry (brambles), etc as you’d expect. Nice zip of acidity is nice.
This is a solid wine and good value I’d say.

    March 10, 2019 - Styx like density - inky black…
Lovely ‘blue’ nose; violets, blueberry, plum.
There’s an element of cooked fruit in this complex blend; 50% Malbec, 24% Cabernet Franc, 16% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Petit Verdot.
    12 months in French barriques.

Nice gentle vanilla notes within the fairly alcoholic (14.5%) acidity softens the potency, add in silky tannins and you have an accomplished wine that truly delights.

September 30, 2018 - Blend de respeito feito com Malbec, Franc, Merlot, CS e Petit Verdot (50-24-16-8-2%). Estagiou 12m em barricas de carvalho francês. RP 94.

Coloração rubi-púrpura. Aromas de frutas negras, couro, tosta, notas florais e defumadas. Em boca é potente, encorpado, intenso e persistente. Acidez marcante e taninos doces, ligeiramente espertos.

Estruturado, deu todas as pistas de que vai crescer bem mais, portanto já vou creditando meia estrela por conta disso.
