December 12, 2023 - Slo-oxed for 10 minutes. A clear yellow gold in the glass. This bottle was definitely showing its age compared to our previous bottle some 19 months ago. Still providing a pleasant medium plus palate of primarily lemon and minerality with touches of green apple and spice, but the acidity now shows a bit more than needed to balance and there was some lemon pith on the finish. Drink up for maximum enjoyment.

November 11, 2023 - Again, amazing how youthful this is. Might well have gone another decade. Ageless. Superfresh and very tasty.

February 18, 2023 - Lots of honeycomb on the nose at PnP. But settles down quickly in the glass. Lovely palate, candied tree fruit with lots of freshness. Showing some wild fruit-ed spice/piquant-ishness. excellent bottle of Chardonnay

    May 29, 2022 - 100% Chardonnay

Aromas show baked apple, Asian pear, wax, banana peel, poached peach, toasted oak.

Palate is full and forward. Medium plus acidity, medium plus body and dry. Similar profile to the aromas. High toned and full midpalate carrying all the way to the finish. Long lasting with cedary oak influenced notes.

Very good Californian Chardonnay with a right balance between fruit, alcohol, oak, acid. Ready now but should keep for at least 2-3 more years. 92.

March 12, 2022 - Only had 10 minutes of decanter time to the beginning of our meal so the second glass was better than the first. A clear light straw-yellow in the glass. Notes of lemon citrus and minerality on the nose. These follow on to the medium plus bodied palate (due to the partial malo) along with some green apple, pear, very light oak, and a touch of spice. The acidity is juicy but balancing, and the finish is medium plus. This wine should hold into next year (and beyond?), but drink sooner - with 20-30 minutes of decanter time - for maximum satisfaction.

February 4, 2022 - This bottle was decanted for 25 minutes, but continued to open and soften into the meal, so more time is OK. This is a highly enjoyable and very reliable Chardonnay that presents lemon crème, stone fruit, green apple, minerality, very light oak, and a touch of spice in nicely balancing acidity. The partial malo creates a medium plus mouthfeel, with a long finish. Should hold to the decade mark and beyond.

January 25, 2022 - Pale gold color. Aromas of yellow apple and lemon zest. Flavors of apple, white pear, and maybe some lime and a hint of beeswax? ride on a bone dry palate. Good acidity still in the finish but more rounded than in my previous tastings. Perfect with pan seared North Atlantic cod fillets with a simple butter pan sauce and sea salt.

December 17, 2021 - This wine is always a joy to drink. This bottle was decanted for 10 minutes, but 15 - 20 is better. As good as our previous bottle back in Sept. 2020, so repeating much of that TN: A wonderfully balanced wine showing lemon crème, stone fruit, green apple, minerality, very light oak, a touch of spice and balancing acidity. The partial malo creates a medium plus mouthfeel, with a long finish. Should hold to the decade mark and beyond.
