October 23, 2012 - Excellent wine. Elegant. Tannins quite prominent. Improved greatly after 90 minutes of aeration.

October 20, 2007 - I'm seriously upgrading my rating for this wine. With increasing time in the air more and more flavors developed, especialy a strong streak of cherry and yummy eastern spices. The nose evolved and strenghtned as well, with a blast of cherry and flowers. In many ways this reminds me of a truly outstanding barolo. If you have some of this consider yourself very lucky.

October 20, 2007 - Big, dark, and brooding, with flavors of cafe au lait, tobacco, chocolate, and black fruit. Big tannins. Enjoyable now but would benefit from some more cellar time.
