May 1, 2015 - Dark fruit, cassis, plum, blueberry. Decent brightness through the middle but ultimately a glossy, modern thing. Restaurant wine, but reasonably well-executed.

April 19, 2015 - Plum, floral, and cedar on the nose. Very balanced, with a black currant, plum, and a touch of oak on the palate. Medium long finish.

December 22, 2014 - Full, plummy bouquet of black fruit and floral notes, showing a touch of heat. Juicy blackcurrant with a briary edge along with a spicy and herbal component ( mint, sage, cedar). There is also a chalky earthiness that provides balance throughout. Much better with food.

November 20, 2014 - Medium(+) - deep ruby, slow very moving legs @14.5% abv. Medium-medium(+) aromas of blueberries, sweet spice, oak, tobacco and vanilla, slightly savoury. Dry, medium(-) acidity, medium silky tannin, medium (+) alcohol, and medium body. Medium(+) flavors of blueberies,u cherries, plum, pepper and tobacco. Complex, balanced, gravitas and elegance. Very long layered fruit-driven finish, never extracted as so many CA cs. Excellent, not overbearing or jammy but focused. Well done.
