March 31, 2020 - Popped and poured.
Single piece cork, no sign of seepage
High fill level
Very expressive nose of fresh white flowers, honey, some musky character, very faint oak
Palate just blows me away with a layered polished and sophisticated attack, and impressive length.
Honey, lots of acidity and an uncommon minerality that just begs for another sip. Superb dry tokaji that provides the proverbial ‘grand frisson’.
Seek out.
Still drinking well at age 10.
Drink or hold to 2023.
