October 12, 2019 - Dense black with a thin dirty brown hue. Aroma of cigar, old oak, forest floor, black berries. A funky smell that fades away with some decanting. Plum, blueberry, sweet berries. Full body, tannins are fine and fully integrated, smooth full flavours, just requires some time to breathe to get rid of the dusty aroma and smooth out the flavours.
Performing quite well for its age, would say it still has a few years left on it, but no need to wait. -

February 26, 2018 - Deep dark purple colour with remarkably clear red hue. Aroma of vanilla oak, salami, white pepper, burnt caramel, a light petroleum mixed with black berries. Surprisingly light and fresh aroma.
Pepper, toast, blackberry, raisin, hazelnut, plum, cocoa. Tannin is strong and drying, maybe needs some more time before drinking, I let it air for 2 hours, that is the limit of my patience. Balanced acidity, medium plus body, very long finish.
For a wine if this age I don't think I could ask for more. Aroma was spot on, deep dark colour, fruit present but a bit dry. I kept a glass for tomorrow night.1 person found this helpful Comments (3) -

August 10, 2016 - Dark crimson colour. Musky, damp oak aroma at first smell. Quickly dissipates in barnyard and earth. Grilled meat, aniseed, blackberry and olive. Full body, long finish. Tannin strong but not overpowering, sweet but not fruity.

February 19, 2016 - Black purple colour. Almost coats the glass. Varnish and wet leather is evident in the aroma. Plum, black currant, blackberry jam. Full body with long finish. Surprisingly sweet and fruity given its age. Took a couple of hours to reach its peak. I was worried upon smelling the cork, pleased with the first taste and pleasantly surprised on the second glass. Give it time to breath and it is a very good wine.

September 29, 2015 - Dark ink colour. Aroma of dirt and leather. Ripe plum, dark fruit and pepper. Course tannin, leathery. Full bodied but with the tannin overpowering the fruit. Bit beyond it years but worth drinking.
