  January 27, 2016 - More funky, complex, and richer than the Penfold's Bin 311, at least at this stage. Interesting to see two Tumbarumba, high altitude wines side by side.

  Withdrawn nose upon opening, building with air. Pear, passionfruit, melon and spicy notes.
  Closed on the palate; not a lot of expression, even after 2 days. Grapefruit finish.
  
  Opinion: Reticent chardonnay, in need of more time. Revisit in 3-4 years.

  September 13, 2014 - Wine-Ark boys on tour - Hunter Valley 2014 - Day 2 (Hunter Valley): Peach is the most dominant of the stone fruits I pick up here but also apricots and nectarine. Slight fig, cream, slight toast and butter. Unfortunately this doesn't translate to the palate…there are some quite savoury stone fruit, front of mouth drying grip. It's a little flabby and a little short.
