March 6, 2020 - Very bright and earthy notes. Berries, cloves, mushrooms.

December 4, 2018 - Oak, black cherry - comes across as quite hot. I hope I can be forgiven for picking this up; I was double parked and thought it was the Grand Vin. This is pretty poor.

March 24, 2015 - Decanted 90 minutes before drinking, but still a bit awkward; best at 3+ hours. Aromas of blackcurrant, flowers, cedar, and stone/clay/earth/loam; fairly ripe fruit, but not over the top; oak is barely discernible and stays in the background. On the palate, good balance between fruit, tannins, and nice fresh acidity; pleasantly sappy, fresh; medium bodied; earthy/stony/mineral finish. Tasty, enjoyable, solid for $20.
