June 26, 2023 - Beautiful bouquet with stony minerals. Same on the palate, honey, grapefruit, good concentration, beautiful acidity.

April 27, 2023 - This was a pop and pour at the wine bar. The nose is balanced, yet succulent with flowing tones of red apples, pears, meyer lemons, quince, nectarines, creamed peaches, yellow flowers, saline, honeydew, and some melon notes. The Medium bodied feel is textured and silky with integrated, high acidity. The feel has balanced out well and is showing a decent level of maturity. While the acidity feels fairly integrated, it still lets you know its there with a mouthwatering quality.

October 1, 2020 - Seven years post vintage, and it’s still a bit reductive after I pop the screw cap. That disappeared after 30 minutes or so, and revealed a broad shouldered, but still vibrant wine that showed darker tones than I would have expected. It’s a brooding Riesling, Strider in the fire light at The Inn of the Prancing Pony. It’s intellectual but regal, a true warrior statesman. I will hold my last bottle for quite while longer, so that perhaps the sage, benevolent liege will emerge.

April 7, 2020 - Guter Essensbegleiter, harmonisch, aber (momentan?) etwas verschlossen... Netter Bitterton im Abgang. Bin unentschieden, denke aber ich warte mit der nächsten Flasche noch 1-2 Jahre. (Strenge) 88P

April 4, 2020 - Quite a bit of acid and limited fruit
Not sure if this gets better or worse with age. We shall see

    October 13, 2019 - not blind
Juicy, reminds me to Roter Hang. Exotic fruits, cracking acidity, saline, reluctant and elegant. At his first peak. 92+

August 5, 2019 - Three+ extra years in the cellar, and this has developed a broader palate presence than it had on release, but it's still quite firm/hard. There's also a notable touch of heat on the finish, so I am concerned about any substantial further aging. Judgement reserved, though at nearly six years post-vintage, I guess I can say this wine did not hit the mark.

May 24, 2019 - Great Riesling from Gunderloch, citrus, peach, stone, very soft mineral note, nice body for a riesling, good pair with the salmon, great long finish
