March 27, 2019 - Very unique qualities. Understated under ripe peaches, spice box, some other stone fruit and light tropical elements. Touches of rust as well as a faint light pepper quality. Palate shows more stone fruit but again there is restraint. Waxy mouth feel with a tart acid driven finish. Definitely also get some tannin on back end. Fun wine to try and definitely worth it for the wine geeks out there.

February 11, 2018 - Massive, perfumed nose of 100 scents. Full mouthfeel with some tannin, so I get the joy of the fermentation happening on skins. Beautiful and begging for food.

May 2, 2017 - A couple of years of age has made this more interesting than it was on release. Peachy, spicy, waxy, caramelly, and a bunch more y words came to mind when I first smelled the wine. There is palate richness to spare, and freshness that seems incongruous for an orange wine, but is more than welcome! Overall it's fun, and carries the spice and peach from start to finish.

June 24, 2015 - Wonderful cloudy amber color. A refreshing type of orange wine, as opposed to others that have a more tannic grip. Nose of citrus and excellent texture. A wine to compliment food or ponder as the sun sets over the pacific. Beautiful.

June 19, 2015 - Cloudy orange/amber color. Light clove/citrus nose. Refreshing, clove, tangerine and subtle grapefruit.
Fun wine. Would buy again. Not sure how this rates in comparison to other orange wines, but I like it. A great alternative to a rose' in warm weather. Call it an orange'. Bravo Enfield. Drink or hold.

May 28, 2015 - This was exceedingly quiet, in contrast to my expectations. No experience with this before this bottle, so I don't know if that is its true character, if it's shut down, or if it was mildly corked below my sensitivity threshold. Comes across as a timid expression of skin contact - enough to mute the fruit, but not so much as to develop the additional flavors, structure and texture one expects from a skin contact ferment. Tried it at a range of temperatures (fridge all the way through ambient room) and over the course of a couple hours in the decanter. I dunno. I drink a lot of skin contact whites, and this one leaves me puzzled. My gut tells me this bottle was not showing all this wine has in store, but YMMV. Would love to hear other's experience with this wine...

April 15, 2015 - Note: I am not normally considered a fan of orange wines. I do enjoy this one, as it is a bit lighter in its orange-ness. Tangerine and spice, a mid palate richness and a finishing brightness express a wide range of expressions all in one sip. It's very food friendly, and not as exotic as many other orange wines.
