  December 3, 2022 - Just delicious and in a great spot right now. It's not fading at all. The parts have stitched together beautifully and I think it's better now than our first bottle 2 years ago. We served it with cheese and spicy charcuterie and IMO it does need food - there is still some grip in those tannins. It has everything we want in the flavour profile of Zin, brambly, spicy, earthy, and all in an elegant style. Storybook really is one of the great Zinfandel producers anywhere.

  October 14, 2022 - just shared a bottle with a sick friend. wine opened beautifully with raspberry compote. palate was notes of red fruit and finish was elegant. Drinking beautifully. if you have a bottle in your cellar, it's time to celebrate!

  December 20, 2020 - I wasn't sure this wine was ready to go, but we needed a wine to go with wings, and zin usually does. Yeah, it's ready to go. We're not fans of huge, bombastic zins and Storybook produces amazing, balanced zins. One of the underrated gems in Napa, IMO. And as this wine underscored, they produce zins that age gracefully into something that's less bombast and more elegance.

  August 8, 2020 - Outdoor Carne Asada Dinner with Friends (Princeton, NJ): Cherry, red berries, a touch of blackberry, earth, briar, savory flavors. Drinking quite smoothly.
  
  This was a top wine tonight. (I thought it drank great but gave the Malbec the edge for pairing well with the food).
  
  Drinking well but drink soon. No longer improving.
  
  I read the wine is an early-drinking blend from the winery, which is 100% organic.
