December 21, 2018 - OMG this is the best Grenache I have ever had. If it was a bit more complex in the nose it would be 100.
September 8, 2017 - Very light in body and style with good grenache fruit on the front palate. Good with a bit of a chill for summer drinking
June 4, 2016 - Last of the three reds we tried from Venteux Vineyards. Garnet red with some slight bricking on the edges. Loved the start of the nose, with some gamey notes and opened up to some more white and purple floral notes. Cherry cola on the palate, in taste and texture. A little bit of heat with lots of red cherries. After leaving it open for a couple hours it added lot of floral notes to the palate. Moderate tannins (5.5/10) and medium bodied. Moderate plus finish. Needed the few hours to integrate and blow off a little bit of that heat. Drink till 2018.
June 4, 2016 - Popped and poured.
Thinner on the body with some acidity and youthfulness. This could be interesting with some decanting.
Light metallic bitterness in the finish.
September 2, 2015 - Delightful, well-balanced and aromatic.
February 28, 2015 - This was a great Grenache. Wonderful, full body with a great, long (but smooth) finish.
