Die Nase ist funky, intensiv, tiefgründig, würzig, Kirschen, Joghurt, laktisch, eine Droge, ein Hauch Kokos, Leder, frisch, grandiose Komplexität, eine Nase zum Eintauchen. Im Gaumen straff, top Struktur, Säure, Tannin, Alkohol in Balance, was für eine Delikatesse, der Wein zeigt Spannung, Dichte, Frische und Länge. Eine Hammer-Bottle, Gänsehaut. Jetzt bis 2035+

  February 15, 2024 - This is an amazing wine. Near perfect balance and demeanor. The fruit is clean, bright, and robust, and the tannin is soft with a glorious finish. I tasted this wine at the winery in 2019 and it is still going strong. One of the best wines I have ever had.

  January 6, 2024 - Short note - first impression is alot of vanilla/oak, crowberries, thyme, lacks some in the middle and the finish, either it cant handle the age or it isnt a optimal bottle. Lacks fruit to handle the oak basically. Medium finish, almost short, medium acidity, lacks balance, medium complex, not at the level of the first bottle, but still a very good quality wine. 86p

  January 4, 2024 - Glass: Zalto Bordeaux
  Popped and poured, drunk over three days. Clear, deep garnet color with orange reflexes. Clean, pronounced and fully developed nose with fine red fruit, finest tobacco, spices, smoke and some barn notes. Complex and multi-layered.
  On the palate bone dry with high, racy acidity. 13,5% abv. High, fine and silky tannin. Beautiful red fruit, tobacco, tar, spices. Cool, wonderful tension, very balanced deep and dense. Very long fruity and smoky finish. Beautiful bottle with decades of life ahead. 95+

  December 27, 2023 - gave it a 90 min decant. fabulus wine, unmistakable American oak aromas of coconut, but also fresh cherries, some dill, cranberries. drink now and for another 30 years.
