December 24, 2017 - As usual the Cab Res from StJ is excellent, sorry to see my last two bottles go. It. Is showing as at the end of it's drinking window, but I would say you have some time left. Not likely to get a bunch better but certainly not over the top!! Enjoy!!

October 23, 2012 - Great wine that showed the benefit of age. Decanted for an hour before serving with grilled dry aged ribeye at a dinner party. This wine was a big hit. Solid structure with bold fruit and a long smooth finish. Greatly enjoyed, thanks to David G. for the gift.

January 8, 2012 - Reminded me of Brach's chocolate covered cherries I used to eat with my grandmother, Anna. The wine had a long finish, decant 1 hour before drinking. Wine opened up with each sip and swirl of the glass! Paired with Kenny’s Zinfandel braised beef short ribs and rutabaga gruyere cheese puree. Fabulous!

November 4, 2007 - A great bottle of wine, it hits all the bases!! Let it open and it just gets better. Velvet on the palate, solid tannins, good fruit nice nose to open and smooth long finish to close, enjoy!! It should keep getting better for awhile
