    January 27, 2024 - Flat out delicious. More cab than cab franc, but in a way that took out all the rough edges. Last of this vintage, but wish I had a case.

    April 9, 2019 - Very well made Cab Franc. Wonderful nose crammed with blackberry and cassis. Very dense dark fruited palate, showing moderate+ but very sweet tannins balanced by good acid and tart finish. Long. Ripe and tart; dense not heavy. A very good Napa.

    April 17, 2017 - At about an hour and a half in the decanter, this opened BEAUTIFULLY. Violet, blackberry pie, sweet tobacco on the nose. Great acidity and mouthfeel. Chewy blackberries on the palate. This beaut of a cab franc will age nicely.

    April 1, 2017 - Had the first bottle at the restaurant which was delicious because over the course of dinner it got a decent amount of time in the decanter. After we killed bottle one we decided to order another. That one was too closed down. Took the rest home to have the next day. Just starting to open up on day two. Still a lot of acidity alcohol and tannin but the wonderful flavors are poking through. Blue fruits, herbs and cream. Give this a long decant if you are opening now.
