  May 7, 2017 - Still has solid tannins after several years aging. Probably needs more time for tannins to soften to reach balanced state. Bit of brine on nose immediately after opening. As it sits nose opens to dark fruit and tobacco. Earthy on the palate. Bit hot too. Doesn't linger too long.

  March 3, 2017 - Forgot my last review, and it rings so true again. This guy needs a lot of air and some aging. Nose reminded me of crayons from elementary school! Could have been a poorly washed wine glass though. Extremely fruit forward, but really lacks structure and balance. I'll try my last bottle in 3yrs:)

  January 7, 2017 - Not your typical red blend, hence the rebellious name! Seems dominated by Syrah and maybe even a little Pinot. Drinks easy, decent fruit, but very tame. It might need a decent amount of air, so we'll see in an hour or so how it's doing.....much better after some air, so upgrading it by 3pts. Give this guy a good hr+ decant.
