February 12, 2017 - Perhaps past prime, but still good. Deep and complex for a Pinot noir. Some pepper and spice.

April 18, 2016 - (consumed 8/8/15) Feline and Burgundian, with wonderful purity and balanced natural acidity. Opened considerably with a two-hour decant. Some light floral elements, and loads of sweet and sour cherries-yet the profile finishes dry. It'a a pleasant soft-spoken warm weather sipper, and being very lightweight and feminine one needs to pair carefully and avoid rich or heavier dishes.

January 15, 2016 - Light brick red with low optical density. Medium intensity nose with simple cherry and cola aromas. Light body with refreshing acidity and smooth mouthfeel (light and ripe tannins). Flavours of cherry cola on the attack with a hollow mid-palate and a sweet short fruit based finish. This is not a style of wine I prefer, although it seems to be popular. There are just so many Pinots out there with this profile- no character or individualality, just easy drinking cherry cola with some alcohol. While many may like it, I am tired of all these cherry cola Pinots. As well, many other wines have this profile for half the price (or less)- major pass for me. These have a time and place, just not feeling it now, and this one does not provide good value!

January 11, 2016 - Good acid; ripe red fruit. Thought it came off a bit thin, even for a pinot.

December 22, 2015 - Great wine for the price. Supple & racy and flat-out delicious. Raspberries, crushed flowers and soft spices linger on the effortless, gracious finish.

October 29, 2015 - Banshee Wines (Healdsburg, CA): Juicy red cherries, wild strawberries and raspberries on the nose along with some rose, leather and bay leaf notes. Bright and zesty approach on the palate but full of juicy raspberries and red apples. A lighter style, smooth but not weak. Notes of subtle spice, leather, wet leaves and cola. A great buy at $25 a bottle.

October 29, 2015 - Value pinot. More traditional style with some decent acid. Felt a little thin on first night, better on the first night, cheery and oak aromas came out

October 18, 2015 - Not bad for a sub $20 pinot. Enjoyed as a second bottle with family on a Sunday evening
