October 7, 2017 - This is drinking really well right now. Well balanced from beginning to end with very focused, but elegant dark fruit and a long finish. There was a bit of tannic edge when first opened, but this quickly softened and provided great structure and mouthfeel.

October 5, 2008 - Nicely balanced syrah. Bacon and plums. No heat, decent finish.

June 9, 2007 - Nose was weak and pungent. Smoke, cherries, and jammy fruit. Opened a bit with 2 hours of decanting.

January 21, 2007 - Ordered this bottle with dinner after spending the day wine tasting in the area. Very bold and juicy wine from start to finish. Good acidity with a full mouthfeel and lots of rich dark berries leading to a smooth finish. It wasn't a perfect match with my braised short rib but this wine would be great by itself or with some cheese.
