June 24, 2019 - This bottle showed much better than one consumed in February. It was terrific, with delicious fruit, ample structure, and a long, succulent finish. My wife was especially enamored. Great QPR.
February 12, 2019 - Nice on the palate, but I wish there was more structure. I haven’t had other experiences with Rudius cab, so I’m not sure if it’s the vintage or just the intended style.
January 20, 2019 - Such a great lovely wine. Medium to full bodied, lots of fruit. Was gone before I knew it.
October 5, 2018 - Everything it should be. Reminded me of a Lewis Cab I had a few years back. Best wine of this style I've had in a while.
September 27, 2018 - A terrific cabernet that is drinking well right now after at least an hour decant. Happy to have 2 more in my cellar.
September 26, 2018 - Fantastic Cab
August 30, 2018 - Outstanding. Give it plenty of air.
May 22, 2018 - Really pleasurable smooth cab with nice density, plum/casis fruit and beautifully balanced finish. Some mocha and vanilla notes. Nice!
March 3, 2018 - Decanted for over an hour. Appearance of medium ruby-purple in the glass. Aromas of crushed blackberries and blueberries with some dark herby cassis and vanilla. The palate's picking up some blackberries, black cherries, and some currants; there are some sweet vanilla and cedar notes detected as well. Medium bodied with a medium finish; picking up some heat on this also so may need a few years to calm it down to let the rest integrate.
January 24, 2018 - Wife finished off the rest of bottle and I had a bit which confirmed my earlier thoughts. Liked this best in the mid palate but finish has a bit of bitter aftertaste that sort of ruins it for me. Still around a 90. Wife wasn't huge fan either although she felt it got a bit better over time.
