November 24, 2022 - Let it air for 30 minutes - excellent Riesling - crisp , great lingering taste after it has aired for 30 minutes.

November 25, 2021 - Fruity, but not sweet. Great balance. It has taken on a deeper golden color with age. Delicious with thanksgiving meal.

August 1, 2021 - Solid, brought back great memories of tasting at the winery. Still in fine form, a sturdy Rielsing, more muscular and forthright than I'm used to. Apple notes and crispness. Meant for food, and we had this in between courses so didn't do the wine any favors. I think this is ready now, didn't detect a wave of secondary aromas coming.

June 3, 2021 - I got lots of nice apple and pear fruit with hints of lemon curd, green melon, kiwi, and cucumber. These fruit flavors are accompanied by some warm baking spices, so imagine apple pie here. The wine has achieved a nice honey-like flavor that goes along nicely with the small amount of residual sugar. You get some nice flinty, smoke, and petrol on the finish. Not super sophisticated, but really enjoyable. Some recent reviews on CT say that it is past peak; I thought it was drinking fairly well right now, though admittedly, I found it a just a tad bit over-ripe on day 2. It might hav been best about 2 years earlier, though I also wonder if the nice honeyed fruit would have been present them, so maybe it’s a trade off. Best case scenario, for this price, try a few different bottles at various stages in its evolution.

This went very well with sausage, prosciutto, and charcuterie—the honey flavors in the wine were a perfect match. Solid, but not special match with Veal Milanese. Really impressive for the price. In fact, for $25, wow!

May 24, 2021 - Past peak. Consumed four bottles with varying results. Two were badly past peak, two were enjoyable but in decline. I prefer this wine younger with the fresh snap to offset the fruitiness.
