October 23, 2022 - Super good with Molly & Andy over for dinner

February 12, 2022 - Absolutely delightful. One of the very best OR 2013’s I’ve had. Balanced and in harmony. Spices, fruit, forest floor, mushrooms, acid, all working together. All I would want in an OR PN. Excellent QPR - drinking much better than 2013 OR PN’s that cost 2x.

March 8, 2021 - There a lot of folks making Freedom Hill these days but I think Mark (St. Innocent) was one of the very first dating back to the mid 1990's. This 2013 bottle, at 7+ years on is drinking VERY nicely right now, with mature dark fruit on the palate and a wonderful earthy spicy savory finish. The nose is almost all baking spices and fresh bread. Medium bodied, its not a big mouthfeel coat your teeth glycerin kind of wine, but rather sleek and balanced. Great with dinner (and we did, lol).

The whole experience is spot on - the savory/fruit/spice/earthy notes are nicely integrated and the wine is ready to drink.

Mark says it can age up to 12 years but why? Maybe it can but I am having a hard time imagining how its going to be all that much better (with only downside if I'm wrong). Enjoy.

February 15, 2020 - Tasted on day 2. Big hit of cranberry fruit on the palate. Very persistent. Nice floral notes on the nose. Ageing nicely. This will go several more years. Nicely balanced with some crisp acidity kicking in on the mid palate. Long smooth finish. Very nice. Some of the 2013 have been flabby but not this.

November 5, 2019 - Restrained cherry fruit. Some herbal notes. Well balanced. Some spicyness. Medium finish
