June 29, 2021 - Medium ruby with significantly fading edges. Sweet spiced nose, peppery, and fairly ripe blackberry. Palate seems somewhat lean, with tart cherry, pepper, cloves, and brine. Medium length and complexity. Generally good but I’d have expected more from such a cult vigneron

May 13, 2019 - Opened 3 hours prior to serving into Galateo Bordeaux glass (“No” day): Medium ruby with bricking rims.

Great green bell peppery notes with darker red fruits.

Great acidity that really inspired a lingering finish.

    92-93 points to me.

December 8, 2016 - Tertiary flavours, good depth, this wine has an enticing delicacy. Starting to get a bit of the tertre exotic sweet spices that are so typical of the style. Nice mouth feel, bit of fruit hanging about. Super interesting- good stuff and in a good place right now. As good as the 89, but at a diiferent stage of evolution. I prefer the slightly younger wine 93

August 27, 2016 - I agree with my previous note as far as characteristics, still super complex and a really interesting wine but this bottle was getting long in the tooth, while not bad it just didn't show that luster like previous bottles.
