January 31, 2023 - Chassagne Ruchottes / Vosne-Romanée Grand Cru tasting (Groot-Ammers, Netherlands): Sauvignon Blanc like nose, noticeable pyrazines, light style, lacks typicity, good length. Not a bottle issue - this appears to be the chosen style of the Domaine. I am not a fan.

November 20, 2021 - Fantastic, at the start of its drinking life. Flowery, buttery richness. Very fresh and lots of tension. Long finish. Exactly what is expected of this style.

April 18, 2021 - So...third and final wine of the * birthday weekend*
On nose: dry vanilla oak and roasted corn.
On palate: follow through of the above flavours, as well as lively minerals and fresh acidity....a surprisingly light silver / gold in glass for an 8 year old premier cru , white Burgundy.
After a 1 hour decant,it displays restrained notes of apple, walnuts, faint( but present) oak resin and lemon curd.....full flavoured but lean....may age for a few more years....went perfectly with Sea Bass , potato salad and green beans.

October 2, 2020 - Nose: The nose starts off with a touch of reduction that takes a small bit to blow off. When it does, it beautifully leans into meyer lemons, orange peels, nougat, pears, red apples, toast, roasted nuts, custard, and mineral tones. There is excellent depth with a primary, open-knit style to it.

Taste: The feel is full bodied with racy, medium+ acidity. The feel is lovely and deep with meyer lemons, orange peels, pears, red apples, toast, roasted nuts, custard, and a good dose of mineral tones that lie underneath.

Overall: This took about a half hour after opening to really rev up and it kept getting better as dinner went on. This is drinking well right now if one is more inclined towards more primary notes but there is ample acid and density for this to age for another 3-5+ years.

November 15, 2019 - Apple and floral aromas are met with nutty and oaky spice notes. Stone fruit, green apple, and oaky spice on the palate. There's great energy here.

August 3, 2019 - This was another excellent showing. Beautiful nose with lemon curd, fresh apple, peach pit, and minerality in spades. The palate is fresh and vibrant with fabulous energy, but still very good density. Well worth the price when compared to other wines of similar pedigree.
