    November 25, 2022 - Extremely disappointing

Signs of pre mox Made these bottles undrinkable - although I have encounters worse cases

First batch of 13s where this has happened - Hope it’s limited to these bottles

May 10, 2020 - I've liked the bottles of this I've drunk previously (3-4 years ago), but this was a bit of a mess, and didn't appeal.

October 12, 2019 - Deep gold but blessedly not a whiff of oxidation. A bit of botrytis defines the rich and slightly exotic nose that focuses with air to show an appealing nutty, savory quality. Full-bodied and nicely textured. Dense fruit but lacks the mineral underpinning of Chevalier-Montrachet at its best.

May 2, 2017 - Very enjoyable. These will likely hold well, but with Niellon and premox we'll drink them early.

February 8, 2017 - The 2013 Niellon Chevalier reveals what seems to be a very botrytised nose of tangerine and honey which becomes more reserved and classical with several hours in the decanter. On the palate the wine is nicely full-bodied and textural, but misses the depth, precision and amplitude of which Chevalier-Montrachet at its best is capable.

March 31, 2016 - The new theory on white burgs. Drink them early. Decanted for two hours, then drunk leisurely over two more. This was gorgeous, and the word elegant came to mind. Well worth trying early, and will likely drink a couple more of these this year.
