February 7, 2020 - Faaaaaaack. Early advanced. It has this sour, bitter oxidized/boytris/almond note at the end of the very long and otherwise gorgeous mouthfeel. As a wine, overall it is insane. It's unbelievably minerally driven with tremendous acidity and still a round generous richness on the palate all wrapped up in one of the most powerful and awe inspiring packages I’ve ever had in a Perrieres. No joke, blind I would have guessed it was a Montrachet. BUT, this overly ripe, bitter note at the end of the finish is 100% early advanced notes. This is headed to premox. It's like the wine is about to blow my doors off and leave me staggering and all of a sudden after this long seamless finish it turns left and ruins each sip at the very very end of it. Boillot's Perrieres has to be among the most powerful Perrieres made. I have to see a mature version of this wine that's not premox. It could live for 50 years with this level of acidity and minerality. It's an absolute monster.

August 17, 2019 - Meursault Perrieres blind tasting 1988-2011: Crisp and clean nose, Very flinty and mineralic. Many said it was Puligny style. I really loved this. Great wine. 95+

One of the WOTN. Classic Perrieres. Big and lively with tons of acidity and minerality. This is a beast of a wine and should be long lived. This is such a Boillot wine too in terms of style. Needs time to settle in although still beautiful now. Gorgeous Perrieres and at the price compared to it's counterparts, a total steal (Jesus, I sound delusional talking about steals at $140...such is Burgundy I guess).

October 24, 2018 - Served in Flight 1 of my Blind Dinner. Decanted for an hour, probably needed 2. Great white fruit and florals, minerally finish with a dose of Acidity to add great freshness. Very lively, floated on the palate.

April 24, 2018 - Sunday afternoon BBQ, Poulet de Bresse with lemon/rosemary.
Drank this next to Le Moine 2014 Les Perrieres. Boillot is well made, nothing to point out, however I miss the passion in this wine, hence the 90 points.
