Community Tasting Notes 10

August 11, 2021 - Pear compote and a hint of lemon on the nose. On the palate, pineapple, pear, and notes of lemon and lime citrus and vanilla, with a pleasant saline/mineral element and a hint of sweetness on the medium finish, with moderate acidity. When first opened, this had an odd bitter note on the finish that quickly faded. This was an average to good value at a little under $60.

July 27, 2021 - Very nice Puligny. Easy to drink and enjoyable.

September 29, 2020 - Medium straw. Brightly mineral and earthy. Rather deep and complex. Persistent, with drive. Highly enjoyable on days 1-3, gaining along the way. A small amount left over on the fourth night showed degradation. Overall, very impressive.

May 28, 2020 - A very nice glass of Puligny-Montrachet - really like the intensity and minimality - medium acidity - a very well balanced wine where fruit is citrus, pear and clearly also honey - happy to give solid 92.
