September 8, 2022 - I see my note from 3 years ago and it still applies: “young, brisk, stony, long and delicious”! Still applies and medium straw color with the greenish cast you often see in young Chablis. Classic apple character, good acidity and nice lingering finish.

August 11, 2021 - Pear compote and a hint of lemon on the nose. On the palate, pineapple, pear, and notes of lemon and lime citrus and vanilla, with a pleasant saline/mineral element and a hint of sweetness on the medium finish, with moderate acidity. When first opened, this had an odd bitter note on the finish that quickly faded. This was an average to good value at a little under $60.

September 29, 2020 - Medium straw. Brightly mineral and earthy. Rather deep and complex. Persistent, with drive. Highly enjoyable on days 1-3, gaining along the way. A small amount left over on the fourth night showed degradation. Overall, very impressive.

May 28, 2020 - A very nice glass of Puligny-Montrachet - really like the intensity and minimality - medium acidity - a very well balanced wine where fruit is citrus, pear and clearly also honey - happy to give solid 92.

April 7, 2019 - 2018 Visit to Vincent Girardin with Marco (Meursault): New oak 20%. With three years in bottle Marco described this as a “restaurant oriented wine” from “the middle of the hill, like a basket, on clay and chalk”. After a hint of reduction, cinnamon and other gentle baking spice, slatey minerality, meadow flowers and citrus. Also, a touch of vanillin oak. Rich entry to the palate, then elegant and long, finishing dry and a little saline. A young wine, starting to drink well. I preferred the Perrières though.

February 22, 2019 - Less happy today I am not sensing the same very nice minimality today as I did in the last two bottles and I think this is affecting the overall balance of the wine I am therefore lowering my rating to 91.
