  May 7, 2020 - This was good just not Great, Some Dark Fruit on the nose with hints of Cherry and some vanilla on the pallet.

  April 11, 2019 - Somewhat flat, no complexity or layers. the fruit is still dark and flavorful and there is still plenty of acidity but there's just not a whole lot of great stuffing there. A bit of a letdown given the pricing.

  April 14, 2018 - I’m a big fan of BV and have historically collected and consumed many vintage BV George de Latour BUT unfortunately I cannot give this bottle high ratings. Not that I gave it the “I don’t like it” rating, I just find nothing on the nose (could be my nose), sharp in the mouth without fruit or other identifiable notes, tight finish suggesting full tannins protecting I-don’t-know-what. I’m saving back half the bottle till tomorrow to see if oxidizing will help.

  May 8, 2015 - One of my favorite Cabernets to date. The wine looks violet colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. The body is medium/full. The wine has silky texture. The wine finishes medium.

  February 8, 2015 - OMG. Leafy loamy nose. Plum, pluot, grass, tannin, cranberry palate. SUPER young. This will hang out in the bottle (and should) for at least a decade.
