July 28, 2023 - Excellent showing. Dense and powerful, without showing heat. Smooth and integrated. Needs air so open in advance. Putting price aside (triple digits at restaurant), this is really good and no hurry to drink at all.
February 2, 2022 - Great bottle! Well balanced with freshness and wonderful fruit that highlights the sweet rich Grenache. It's doing really well right now.
December 26, 2021 - An excellent wine with lots of red and dark red fruit flavors. Complex and almost brooding way.
December 19, 2021 - My oh my. So fabulous. In a great stage, tannins well integrated. Spicy, with ample cured ham, dark cherry, and some mild desiccation. Crushed violet
This wine is absolutely singing. Paired with wild boar ragu. Hedonism at its finest. Great PQR.
November 24, 2020 - Tuesday Night Double Blind $50+ (Bin 75 Alpharetta, GA): Cloudy chocolate core with dull purple rim; candied violets, tea, leather, very Brett driven, some iron, brown spices, not very fruity; plusher texture with air, spritzy at first gives it a weird quality but gets better with air, whole cluster, Syrah/Beaujolais/Grenache character, more fruity on the palate, feral, white and black pepper; very unique.
July 23, 2020 - Decanted an hour. Smells like an old school Medoc from a warm year (Gruaud Larose comes to mind) but tastes like a mature Musar with more power. Fantastic wine. First experience with this wine and I really enjoyed it. Didn't expect so much complexity and secondary aromas. Very silky and the tannins are so integrated. Highly recommended
October 1, 2018 - Really a very nice wine that needs so air to help it open up. We drank it over two days and found it quite fresh the second day. Lot of dark red fruit and minerality and a pleasing after-taste. Nice spiceness on the tongue that suggests this is a long-lived wine.

September 9, 2017 - The nose was dark and brooding, with crushed blackberry, savory herbs, dusty soil, and brown spices. On the palate, I found silky enveloping textures with sleek blackberry, plum, spice and inner floral tones. It was feminine and graceful with fine tannin that came in late and saturated the senses. It finished long on tart black fruit and spice.
August 13, 2017 - This is a very serious wine. Dark color, strong nose of ripe blackberries and plumb. Too bad I bought only one bottle.
