Community Tasting Notes 3

October 29, 2016 - Incredibly earthy nose with underbrush and very dark fruit. Similar on the palate with earthy dark cherry and black currant. Very slightly tart on the finish but really drinking great now. I was suspicious of this domaine but no more. Incredible value at $35.

As an aside I drank a bottle of this after tasting an amazing bottle of '14 Domaine Dujac Morey villages and was concerned this would be forgotten but not so! Highly recommended.

March 5, 2016 - Hints of root beer and shoe polish on nose; fresh and lively palate with solid fruit; nose is best part as the rest is fairly one dimensional. Perhaps time will help it come round.

November 16, 2015 - very good burgundy drinking nicely now with good fruit, not too earthy and a soft finish; 13.0% alc.
