January 26, 2021 - Pop and Pour....cork crumbled, nice color crimson/cranberry color with touch of bricking. Fresh for it's age, lots of earth, wet stones, dark chocolate and cross of Raspberry/blackberry, light black tea. little bit of funk.
2nd hour-Cherry and raspberry and funk has almost disappeared, it is drinking like a 12-15 years wine not 25 years. Menthol peaking through.

Cranberry, nice sour notes. Herbal and Soft, Tobacco, earth shinning. Great Bottle!

October 9, 2016 - Second Sunday Group: 2012 Napa Cabernets (Rich's & Dana's): Popped and poured. Initially very perfumed and floral- rose petals, lavender and potpourri- giving way to cherry and currant notes. Red berry fruit on the palate lingers through the finish. Fully-integrated, showing nice balance and length, still with a few years ahead of it at this level, say to 2020. Excellent. 92+ pts.
March 3, 2014 - Nice Crimson color with slight bricking. Earth, cedar, leather, raspberry, menthol peaking through. could last a few more years.
April 6, 2012 - Still excellent, well sorted....even so well past the CT drinking window.

June 8, 2006 - Wineflock - Rafanelli Tasting (Jeff R.): Full opaque red purple color. Huge ripe black fruit aroma with some spicy and heat. Fairly tight hot canned black fruit. Nothing much special here.
June 8, 2006 - Raspberry fruit on the nose. Spice, acid, slightly older flavors, tea, leaves. Soft yet persistent red fruit.
