December 31, 2023 - Pale colour. Lovely nose red fruits and a slight herbaceous quality. On the palate - good backbone, savoury strawberry and a sour cherry finish, but not *too* puckering - civilised for a 13 burg. K quite enjoyed it, which was a pleasant surprise.

December 3, 2023 - Night two. A little more vegetal, a little more strawberry leaf, and the sourness at the end is diminished. Quite a bit nicer on night two - which is rare for a burgundy, I think...

December 2, 2023 - Pale colour. Lovely nose - bramble and red fruits. On the palate - savoury strawberry, there’s some structure there but the tannins are a little in the shadow of the sour 13 acid. Perfectly decent but not getting any better - and I was wise to open it with K out for the evening.
