September 22, 2015 - Four hour decant, which was needed, the nose is dark cherry, , sage, anise, quite pleasant. The palate is well integrated, even at this young age and contains dark cherry, a tinge of licorice and herbs, with a medium mouthfeel and a medium finish. This has the potential for improvement over the next couple of years but is nice now.

December 1, 2014 - Reasonable entry level barbaresco for $20. Nose is red fruited, with some smoke and dried orange peel notes, but unfortunately a chemical edge is present which I don't like. Palate has a touch of RS and the expected massive acid and tannin. Short finish. Alcohol pokes out a tad here.
