February 25, 2018 - Courtesy of JB. Vanilla and red berry fruit aromas. Fully-integrated. Red fruit, spice and leather on the palate. Finishes just a little shorter than I would like, but a fine effort nonetheless. Drink up.

February 15, 2009 - The Blind Drunks monthly tasting (Chateau Lay): Notes of dark fruit and spice, followed by dark chocolate and herbs. Medium-bodied, with flavors of plum and dusty red fruit. Nicely balanced, with a decent finish ending with a lingering dark fruit quality. 92-93 pts.
