May 13, 2018 - Red brick purple color. Medium body. Perfumed nose. Flavors of raspberry, cinnamon, licorice, and leather. Very tannic. Needs an hour of decant time. Could use another 3 years before entering its peak drinking window. 14.5% abv.

Notes getting very poor - nice fruit (cherry / sour cherry) but not as enjoyable as some of the other wines - this wine is very young. 91+ tonight but clearly room for improvement. -
