May 26, 2019 - Still completely primary with rich cassis, a touch of olive and licorice root in a concentrated reserve wine that feels very decadent at this point in time. Not huge on structure, it makes up for with quality berries. It is good drinking now but should welcome another 5 years easily and be better for it. Fine tannin, light in oak and acid perfect. Excellent. Drink now-2030.

August 4, 2017 - Firmly on the red fruit spectrum; raspberries, hints of boysenberry, some star anise, hints of cloves, some cedar and plenty of vanilla. Fruit is to the fore and oak plays a complementary role. Decent length and fine grippy tannins. A good wine that is very enjoyable to drink, albeit with a slightly mass-produced, crowd pleasing feel about it.

March 30, 2017 - Lovely blackberry, blackcurrant and dark berries on the nose. The palate is medium-full, with a lovely fruit body, coupled with mint, and some savoury spice. The tannins are fine - the whole package is drinking well already.

November 1, 2016 - Blackberries, plums and savoury spice notes on the nose. The body is medium to full with superfine, firm tannins, dark fruits and earthy hints. Cab Sauv with small additions of Malbec and Petit Verdot, this is great drinking already

September 24, 2016 - A wine of great power and intensity. The dense blackcurrant and boysenberry fruit is vibrant and has a lively mouthfeel. The back palate is dark, but artfully shaded. Black olive, cigar box, nutmeg, bell pepper, dark chocolate and herbs, combine with ripe superfine tannins to provide great support and a long finish. The balance impeccable. Superb.
