January 24, 2024 - Even on decanting intense aromas. Left to air of an hour. Drinking really well, and I suspect this can go on for several more years and only get more interesting again. Still a lot of fruit present but transitioning well out of the primary fruit. Good complexity.. Best Aussie tempranillo I've had. Superior stuff,.

August 26, 2020 - Savoury and earthy, with a blend of blue fruit and mineral tones. Medium weighted, tannins in fine form. Drinking well.

May 29, 2019 - Now this is starting to look better, feels more together and expressive. Still has a lovely spicy edge, black cherries, a little tarry, scorched earthiness in a medium bodied frame. Grippy tannins pull on the fruit, oak is there in a good way. Definitely getting better with age.

April 9, 2019 - Deep Black Ruby Red in colour with a ruby rim at April 2019. v/nice
Deep plums and cherry fruit leap out of the glass with some spice, integrated older oak used and some bottle maturity now showing.. Ready for certain
On the palate we have sweet upfront fruit showing similar flavours to above , medium bodied mid palate richness and good strong oily tannins giving length with a cool climate acid kick at the end. nice , ready for certain and perfect with mexican tacos which will cut through the tannins. good result.

March 15, 2019 - Plush red and blue fruits lead on to a relatively simple, balanced, slightly savoury mid-weight palate. There's good length. Tasty for sure. Drinks well. On day 2 it somehow tightened up and was much more savoury. Wow. What a pleasant surprise.
