March 25, 2021 - Last bottle of this Italian beauty first tasted at Mercato West.
Deep ruby in colour (definite garnet hue ) with aromas of old toasted French oak, sweet red & black fruit with earth & sweet spice.
On the palate, medium to full bodied tart sour cherry & blackberry, old French oak, earthy, & high acidity with medium silky tannins.
The finish is long to sweet spicy pepper, & this wine is balanced & definitely in the rustic Italian style. Love it!
