  January 1, 2016 - Clear, deep ruby. Almost purple.
  
  Clean nose of dark fruit, spices and anise.
  
  Medium acidity, medium+ dusty tannins, medium body of black cherry, blueberry and violet. Black pepper on the medium finish.
  
  Very good quality. More restrained and elegant than many Argentine wines.

  June 6, 2014 - This had a great aroma; blackberries, vanilla, oak and chocolate cake. Unfortunately, aroma and flavor are two very different things in this wine's case. Muted fruit, mealy mouth feel, bitter aftertaste. In the words of Arthur, King of the Britons: "Run away!"

  February 5, 2014 - Full and smooth. Not a lot of complexity, but nice with a wonderful, dry, chewy follow-through on the palate. Good structure and drinkable over the course of at least two days. Would certainly purchase again for my cellar for some evening when grilled steak or a hearty beef stew is on the menu.
