April 19, 2024 - Young, but approachable, certainly with a good ribeye. Chocolate, tobacco, sweet black fruit, intense, concentrated. Will keep well for 10 years, hard to resist now - nor should you.

March 20, 2024 - Brought to a restaurant; decanted for a half hour. Deep and dark; not a lot of layers. Shapely tannins, black fruit. Excellent.

February 25, 2024 - Changed constantly during the first 2 hrs. Started off as surprisingly fruit forward and changed to a smooth and sophisticated palate of tannins. Truly wonderful. If you are looking for a big Napa red, this definitely is not it.

January 14, 2024 - Purchased from the winery and stored well since. Disappointing how bad this is—simultaneously dilute and over-oaked, with a very thin mid-palate and acrid finish. There is no fruit to balance the tannin or considerable alcohol. Not better on day two. Doubly disappointing at this price point.
