March 19, 2023 - Consistent with previous note. Splash decant, drank a good sized glass over 1 hour. This is a full-bodied and well-structured cabernet. It isn't a wow cabernet, it's a great easy-drinking cab that went well with steak.

August 7, 2022 - Nice Wine. In a good place right now. Classic, up the middle Cab notes of dark berry and cherry, with some blue undertones. A bit of herb and tobacco on the palate. Pretty acidity balances a neat, linear palate.

March 28, 2022 - Smooth, integrated, and delicious, in the heart of its drinking window. Held up well over three nights.

August 6, 2021 - Very dark red/purple color. PNP, drank a glass plus over 3 hours. Very earthy with a perfume that emerges over 30 minutes, tobacco, black cherry, blackberry, dried herbs, vanilla, spices and wood. The palate is full bodied, choke cherry, black cherry, blackberry, tobacco, vanilla, spices and round tannins that exhibit some grip yet. 91+ to 92pts.

July 16, 2021 - a wine I go to often when wanting a Cab Sauv, this from Washington State. Decadent dark berries, rich milk chocolate, black currants, black cherry, touch of cedar.

June 8, 2021 - Showing better than a year ago and it didn’t take as long to get going. Delicious, trademark CV fruit with some confident oak and gentle tannins. On the leading edge of its apex, imho. 5+12+17+9= 93

March 13, 2021 - Not decanted, but tasted after being open for two hours with about 4 oz. poured out of the bottle and then re-corked. Tasted blind, in GlassVin stems. Initially, the aromas weren't all that pleasing, with a soy sauce note weaving through the dark cherry aromas. Tannins are still present, but fine in feel. Slightly creamy edge to the delicious black cherry flavors with soil-like notes underneath. I guessed Washington and, upon reveal , it was. This is a pretty but understated wine by Washington standards that started to thin out a few hours later. Better with food.
