  July 21, 2017 - Nice fruit and dusty earth up front. There is some sourness on the back end, which is a bit pleasant and also a bit distracting. Short to medium finish. Great value at the case price.

  April 2, 2017 - Light red. Intense cranberry juice notes on the nose. Sour red berry notes. Not unpleasant, but far from compelling. Still, the sour red berry structure is a bit like picking a scab - it hurts, but has a pleasurable aspect. Solid minerality and good acids.

  July 26, 2016 - hazelnut, brazil nut?, sour cherry, spice, palate is silky, dark cherry, dried basil, nutmeg. For such a light wine, it has a nice fleshy midpalate.

  October 4, 2015 - Muted, but pretty nose of caramelized sugar and figs. Light bodied. Restrained palate of fig and cherry with a hint of green on the finish. Very fine tannins and a splash of acid. Good at $30. Great at $20.
