February 5, 2016 - Tasted at the Sampler, London. Medium. This is a GSM blend with lots of Mourvedre and also some Carignan. Expressive nose of dark fruit, earthy notes and a meaty, animalic touch on top. Medium-full bodied with good structure, freshness and high aromatic intensity. Very well done, a really characterful, terroir driven wine and not your "off the mill" GSM.
