October 10, 2020 - The flood of floral notes typical of a younger SH Gewurz were not present; spice and minerals on the palate; mild spice on a medium finish. We chose this vintage because of the reports of others noting its dryness and acidity to pair with a robust Chocroute garnie, which traits in this wine made it an excellent pairing.

January 26, 2019 - Pale lemon color. Much lighter than most gewurz. Nose dominated by floral notes, lychee, honeysuckle, candied lemon. Very nice, more refined and less spicy than your typical gewurz. Similar flavors on the palate with a good mix of citrus and and orange blossom honey. Medium+ acidity and moderate alcohol keeps this wine drinking light and refreshing on the palate. Really nice wine and one of the best domestic gewurz I have had.
