September 29, 2017 - Had a mineral streak that was slightly annoying. Did not get better on night two - but both nights was better with chocolate. Hmmmm
February 4, 2017 - To the nose, blackberry over plum and black cherry. Some slight pencil shavings, too. On the palate, same fruit plus black raspberry joins in after opening up (about 60 mins, started too cold). Tannins are solid in firm strands. Some pepper, cigarbox/smoke/slight oak, and slight bramble after it opened up. Wish I had more!
January 7, 2017 - Superb! Smooth to drink, well balanced. The is in its prime - drink now!
December 24, 2016 - This is the best WA cab that's ever come out of our cellar. Drink now; well balanced, they hit the nail on the head with elegant.
January 8, 2016 - The best of the 3 by a land slide. Classic dark fruits, spices, oak, vanilla and a long, complex finish. Cellar 3 to 5 years. 92-94
June 14, 2015 - Very nice start and finsih. Excellent bottle.
March 28, 2015 - Very dark purple color. Dark fruit, grape jam and barnyard aromas. A little too sweet with food, but by itself much better. Some acidic imbalance. Decently long finish.
