October 13, 2018 - I have tasted this wine many times, this time is very different.
Golden color with high viscosity. Smell of honey, tangerine, and floral make you thinking it is sweet, then the taste is more orange, lemon, and grapefruit, maybe some yellow peach. Quite fruity. Interesting!

January 3, 2016 - Surprisingly serviceable - light straw color, fresh acidity, lemons, grassy, med light length finish. Someone brought over for gathering. at C$15 tax in, probably got lots of other choices, might consider it again if on sale.

October 28, 2015 - Pale yellow-green color. Explosively aromatic nose with heady notes of currant leaves, passion fruit, some mango, a little bit of crushed nettles and a hint of green currants. The wine is light-bodied, fresh and quite vegetal on the palate with herbaceous, green flavors of white currants, tart passion fruit notes, some pithy grapefruit tones, a little bit of exotic fruits and a hint of currant leaves. The wine if bright and refreshing with racy acidity. The finish is bright and fresh with herbaceous, aggressively green flavors of grass, currant leaves, grassy greenness, tart passion fruit, some lemony citrus fruits, a little bit of pithy grapefruit bitterness and a hint green currants. The fruit flavors fade away rather quickly, but the bitterness and sharp green tones persist for a long time.

A rather typical, balanced and very vegetal New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc - except that this wine comes from Bordeaux, not from NZ. Honestly, were this wine served to me blind, I wouldn't hesitate for one second in guessing that this wine must be from Marlborough. The style is so extremely new world that it isn't recognizable as a Bordeaux Sauvignon Blanc. Perhaps a very good wine if you are a fan of aggressively herbaceous New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc style, but I prefer less green, more fruit-forward expression of SB. Not a particularly bad wine, but I am not a fan.

September 22, 2015 - Pale yellow to faint green.
    Clear /bright
Nose/bouquet: sweet lemon, slight earth/old wood, honey suckle, pineapple, green peach
    Med/light viscosity
    Medium acid
    Medium finish
    Bone dry.

Nice, light, refreshing, cheap. Had a synthetic cork...

January 16, 2015 - Notes of grass and faint passion fruit, this blend is fairly distinct for its price point and a worthwhile buy. It's 75% Sauvignon Blanc, 23% Semillon, and 2% Muscadelle; very reminiscent of Sauvignon Blancs I've had previously from New Zealand.

Quite a grassy, fresh nose, light waxy feel. Well round on the palate, decent acidity and drinks just fine. Could use some more depth but still better than the White all things being equal. 88
