August 13, 2023 - Similar to prior note after a 2 hour double decant, still med/firm tannins & had some coffee on the palate; delicious, drink or hold

August 18, 2022 - Some wines just find their time . . . and this is one of them. Shame on me for opening its brothers too early. 90 min and it was singing and firing on all cylinders. Black and red raspberry and cherry, mineral streak and tannins holding a long mid and back palate with a lovely dark fruit and herbal long finish, no hard notes no flaws on the 40+ sec finish. 98 is prolly a tough score so if you find and open on a fruit or flower day (lunar calendar) expect even more!

April 30, 2022 - Similar to prior note after a 2 hour double decant, except for med/firm tannins; delicious, but I did not wait long enough, hold for another year or 2

September 17, 2021 - Double decanted for 2 hrs, deep ruby, black cherry with some vanilla, med. tannins, long finish; delicious, but the palate does not quite live up (yet?) to the opulent nose, drink or preferably hold

February 14, 2021 - I just loved this - decanted 2+hrs and a Valentine’s Day ribeye accompaniment. This is a great California cab and drinking terrifically now- I think just about the sweet spot in terms of aging but has plenty of life yet. wow! I’ve been using my Brio (about 1/2 the price) as a tasting guide to this one- no rush I think you’ve got a decade to go on this one!
