January 22, 2023 - A really nice bottle of Grenache that was drinking a bit like a Syrah -- and knowing Joey Tensley...
PnP, but better after 10-15 minutes of air. Lots of dark fruits and earth on the nose. The medium to plus bodied palate was heavy with dark red, blue, and even some black fruits, earth, spice, and even a touch of chocolate. The acidity was nicely balancing and any tannins were integrated. This wine should hold for several years. -

In Vino Veritas (in wine there is truth; people speak the truth when they are drunk), bottle #86 of my cellar sacrifices. A 2013 Grenache from Tensley to mix everything up. Although it was a New World Grenache, it did have the earthiness that you would expect of the European ones. Rather light- to medium-bodied and very fruity. A nice break from what I’ve been drinking lately. 😀🍷🍷👍👍 #wine #winelover #winelovers #tensley #grenache -

February 10, 2021 - Started with high acidity, but that leveled off. Big cherry fruit, subtle chocolate, and nice big spices and tannins. This bottle showcases why I love grenache!

February 8, 2021 - See-through red with a bit of orange tint around the edge. Strawberry jam and cinnamon nose. Medium bodied, tart cranberries, bright cherries, baking spices, soft tannins, a touch of tobacco, and a warm medium length finish. A great bottle for the price.
